“We recently bought a small one bedroom flat which we plan to turn into an Airbnb. The flat was in a bit of a state, so we have gutted it and are starting from scratch. Having never done anything like this before, it is obviously all a bit overwhelming, so I asked Hannah if she would do a one-off session with me to get me started on my interior design journey. I had lots of vague ideas already, but just needed someone to sense-check them all with.
Hannah was so patient with me, as we walked round the property and I offloaded all my ideas and anxieties onto her! She was really encouraging and helped me to feel more confident about my plans. She had lots of great style ideas, and also made lots of brilliant suggestions about the fundamentals - like floors, doors, paint, lighting, bedding and towels.
One session turned into two - as Hannah realised that the key for me was to get me organised!
She created a brilliant document that I am now working from, where I save all my inspirations and create mood boards and shopping lists for each room. It is so useful.
I would highly recommend Hannah for any project. She is warm, friendly and supportive - and also very clear (in a gentle way!) about what will or won’t work in a particular space.

“Hannah is amazing! Undertaking the full renovation of a Grade 1 Regency apartment in Brighton, I wanted a modern space with a very sympathetic view to this classical style. Hannah took the brief and worked her magic with lovely touches of the past in every room. It is now a homely, seaside paradise.
Most of the work was done during CV-19 when sourcing issues and supplier delays were at their peak! We could only meet when travel was permitted (London to Brighton) to the worksite, so keeping in contact was really important. Hannah was very good at this and flexible to attend site meetings with the contractors when needed for her design work or in my absence if requested.
We spent quality time together on the rooms design with mood boards and 3D renders provided. We also visited a range of suppliers owing to both her local knowledge and research (Hannah even took out historical books from the library!). Our shopping trips secured the majority of the furniture and ALL soft furnishings, marble ogee worktops, glass front fire, tiles for wet rooms and the classical seaside balcony, antique brass ironmongery, switches (so many types!), parquet flooring, kitchenware and a beautiful chandelier. Everything else too from bathroom cabinets to blinds to coffee table books. Hannah spent time sourcing good quality items for my budget - everything from bespoke vendors to high street brands.
Hannah had a good network of trades already but was great at engaging the specialists on site - overseeing the installation of classic windows and doors, reformed coving, specialist work due to G1 status etc. I think the biggest challenge was the mezzanine balustrade and paddle ladder - not an easy task but she aced it! Hannah even researched the area to find historical photographs related to the building and had these framed for our hallway and staged the house wonderfully for our first visit.
Hannah’s attention to detail is fantastic and I would thoroughly recommend her as a professional for any project, large or small. So much more than interior design!””

“Hannah has been amazing at helping us choose everything from kitchen cabinets and handles to paint, furniture and soft furnishings. She has come up with so many great ideas to maximise the use of space and give our home the look and feel we want. Nothing is too much trouble and she even gave me homework (which I wanted) helping me to design my mood boards both digitally and physically which has helped me visualise the space so much more.

The report she gave us had photos and links of all the the furnishings she had found which was so helpful, she even let us use her trade discounts!!

I had some ideas for how I wanted the space to look and feel but just didn’t have the confidence and knowledge to bring it together, but with Hannah’s help we have incorporated our ideas and some pieces of our furniture with so many of Hannah’s great recommendations that I would never have thought of or even considered.
